Leo Fontes didn't set out to build a documentary studio.
He set out to make one film for his children - and spent six years learning what it actually means to preserve a family's story.

For Leo, filmmaking has never just been about creating beautiful videos.
His work combines documentary filmmaking, oral history preservation, archival research, and cinematic storytelling to help families and organizations capture the experiences, sacrifices, milestones, and defining moments that shaped who they are - creating films that can be shared not only today, but by future generations.
Through interviews, archival photographs, home movies, historical research, narration, and cinematic storytelling, the film preserves stories of hardship, reconciliation, faith, perseverance, and family legacy that may otherwise have disappeared forever.
Originally envisioned as a small personal project for his children, the documentary evolved into a six-year production documenting five generations of family history across California and Mexico.
That belief became deeply personal through the production of his feature-length documentary, Until Our Final Breath.
